I understand that the college admissions process can be stressful and full of uncertainty. My goal is to bring clarity and direction to the college search and to allow students and parents to make informed decisions. I pride myself on working with students and their families in discovering colleges and universities that will be a "good fit".
What I have learned in my daily practice is that through the counseling process, students learn to relax and enjoy self-discovery. I help to provide the tools to navigate the college admission process successfully.
My goal is to help students have choices and feel good about the next adventure that awaits them. While I welcome working with families at all stages of the college process, I feel it serves the student and family best when they start prior to the summer of ninth grade. In that way, I am better able to get a full understanding of the student and their needs, develop a relationship with the child, and help the student make strategic decisions with regard to academics and extracurriculars.
