Apply for Scholarship "Young dreams in Westchester: let's shine together!" For over 10 years, STSI has awarded scholarships to support ambitious young students as they pursue their academic goals! In 2026 we are honored to continue this legacy. To apply for the 2026 "Reach-for-The- Stars" college academic scholarship, complete the application, submit an academic resume, and also a 500-word essay that shares your vision, story, and academic passions. We look forward to seeing you at our annual STSI Family and Friends day on July 11th to celebrate our scholarship recipients. Apply today and take this important step towards living your dreams! ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: • Rising college freshman, who is graduating from high school, and has enrolled in a university, college, or vocational school (trade school) for this upcoming fall. •Cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 or higher. • Recipients must be present at the Annual Friends and Family Day in order to receive the scholarship. INSTRUCTIONS: 1. All parts of the application must be completed and submitted online by the deadline. 2. The application must be complete. An incomplete application can potentially negatively impact your opportunity to be awarded. 3. Upload and submit the official school transcript. 4. Upload and submit proof of intended enrollment or acceptance letter to a college/university/vocational school for the Fall of 2026. 5. Upload and submit a resume that includes extracurricular/community service during the past 4 years. DEADLINE: June 15, 2026 "Reach for the Stars” Student Scholarship Application Sister to Sister International, Inc. is proud to announce our 2026 “Reach for the Stars” Scholarship Awards Program. Please complete the application in full by providing all requested information. Applications and documents will not be shared outside of the STSI Scholarship Committee. Applicants must complete all the following information to qualify for one of the awards. 1. Official High School Transcript -must be a Graduating Senior. 2. Official letter of acceptance or proof of intended enrollment to a licensed or accredited education institution providing post-secondary education or training. 3. A resume that includes-extracurricular/community service during the past 4 years (including teams, clubs, offices held), Honors received, Summer/part time employment, Internships. 4. Two (2) letters of recommendation . 5. A commitment for 10-hours of service commitment to STSI during the awardee’s freshman college year. 6. A 500-word minimum essay entitled “Reach for the Stars” depicting the following essay expectations: • What makes you a deserving candidate for this scholarship? • Why do you feel you need this scholarship in your endeavor? • What obstacles have you perhaps overcome to achieve your goals to attend and graduate from college? • What values and personal qualities set you apart from other applicants?
